Quality standarts

The window scantlings are manufactured from pine tree, artificially dried to 12% (+/-2%) moisture of the wood, triple laminated in thickness, finger-joined from the lamellas with a minimum length of 210mm, free of branches or mechanical defects, bluish wood, bark, cracks or other defects of wood.  The outer edges are made from radial and/or semi-radial sawn timber.

Upon your demand we may supply the window scantlings from bluish wood and only from tangential-sawn timber.

Each package of the window scantlings are wrapped in moisture resistant plastic, it includes packing and is placed on 100mm high legs.

The supplies of window scantlings are being made from our storage in Latvia and therefore we are ready to comply with the most demanding supply deadlines.

The manufacturing of the window scantlings is done with the modern wood processing equipment thus ensuring the quality of the end product.

The manufacturing of the window scantlings begins with the sawing of the round timber where the most attention is paid to the quality and measures of the sawn boards. The sawn boards are adequately packed to ensure the even and qualitative drying of the timber. The timber gets artificially dried till the moisture of the wood is 12% (+/- 2%). The dried timber gets grouped depending on the type of the sawing- tangential or radial. With a help modern equipment any defects of the wood non-permissible in the end product get eliminated from the wood.

The obtained lamellas get laminated in boards of 6000mm in length by using the high quality D4 glue.

The laminated boards further get planed after which the lamination in thickness according to the specification is carried out not later than within 24 hours.

The scantlings manufactured in the above process constitute a qualitative product fit for the production of the wooden windows and doors and ensuring their effective and long-term use.
